The food is excellent! I had the fried steak sandwich. It tasted very good! However, as friendly as the staff is, the service just isn't the best. After I ordered my drinks, it took about 10 minutes to receive them (I ordered sweet tea and sprite), the food came out fairly quick. When I got handed the check, it took 25 minutes for my server to take the check back for payment. And that was after I got her attention. I hate writing bad reviews, but honest reviews are often brutal. The food is good and the staff are friendly. I still recommend this place.
My husband and I stopped here on the way to Dallas for a bite to eat and this turned out to be one of our new favorite spots! Food was home cooked like MeMe makes it, very friendly staff, home like atmosphere. We definitely will be back. Try the scalloped potatoes with one of their homemade rolls!
Eating there a few times, love the food, truck parking is plus. Only thing bad about it, is the fact it always looks closed to me from the outside. At night it packs out. And if you need a restroom, there really small in the restaurant, would recommend going before you get there. There is a porty potty behind the building lol.
Small chicken fried steak was huge. Had liver and onions with sweet potato and grilled asparagus. It was excellent. Everyone in our party was pleased with their dinners. Service was great.
Great place for home cooking. Lunch portions were more than adequate to even have a to go box.
